The construction quality lays on two factors: materials and care in production process. In this article, we want to focus the attention on materials of which our systems are made.
It is made of hot-dip galvanised steel sheets 0,7 mm thick. Adequate machines create “waves” on them, so that it becomes stronger with its third dimension. The longer edges of the panel are bended on themselves and this operation double its thickness and strength. Afterward we put on the panels by cold welding some horizontal reinforcement bars made of the same material.

On the top, in the pocket, this is the rail where the trolleys slide. It is made of anodized aluminum AW6060, 10 micron thick. With over thirty years of in-depth experience in this field, we ensure that this electrochemical process improves this material, gaining the best performances in sliding, mechanical stress and corrosion, assuring a long service life of our pocket sliding door systems.
Over the decades of activity, we have acknowledged that trolleys quality is essential to the good operation life of a pocket door. Striving the best we decided to make them internally with highest quality materials. We chose Nylon PA6, a polymer that has optimal mechanical characteristics and low coefficient of friction. Moreover, this material is ageing and climate-resistant, gives to the product high electrical isolation and a good resistance to alkalis, to inorganic compounds and solvents. The result is a certification of the Giordano Institute, which proved 100.000 cycles of opening/closing for each trolley, with breaking load of 576 kg
